The 26 bed Subacute Unit of Alhambra Hospital Medical Center provides long-term comprehensive inpatient medical care for patients with medical conditions that chiefly involve respiratory, muscular skeletal and neurological systems, and those recovering from medically complex illness. When a patient is admitted into our Subacute Unit, the patient is cared for in a similar way as would be provided in a nursing home, but with a higher acuity and intensity of services.
